Failure of treatment of progressive
sense-neural deafness of unknown etiology is very frequent. There is no specific
treatment.The intra-tympanic steroid injection or medicinal treatment
with neuro-vitamins, vasodilators, usually, gives no result.
Present research by the author indicates it
as an infection of NTM (non tubercular mycobacterium) which is a recent found pathogenic
organism to infect humanity. Some aspects of this research are posted in
Research Gate, Germany and others in international journals like Heighpubs Journal of ENT disorders, Texas, USA.
Sorry! To find no response from doctors or
audiologists to criticize, appreciate or doubt on this activity. Are we not
doing a great injustice to the sufferers of this disease? There are also many
other diseases, till now accepted as diseases of unknown etiology, are coming
under the per-view of this research.
