To,
Dr. Tedros Adhanom, the Director General of World Health Organization, Switzerland.
Sub: - A new
discovery to treat diseases, those torture millions of world population but
none responsive to any treatment.
Sir,
I have written you (and your
predecessors) about diseases those torture multimillions of people in the
world. Your institution is the epitome that saved humanity from death and
destruction by diseases like rabies, syphilis, cholera, small-pox, malaria,
tuberculosis, leprosy and many others.
At present there are other many
diseases which are torturing humanity throughout the globe. The sufferers seek
redress from human healers like doctors of modern medicine (general
practitioners specialists and institutions of fame), Homeopathy, Kaviraji,
Unany etc. Being harassed from them the
patients take sorcery or magic procedures. Some modern doctors accept wrong
conceptions on etiology and take up corrective surgery (sometimes repeated)
which gives prolonged torture and deformity. Similar are the medicinal
treatments. The author repents for such practice in his earlier days. All these diseases were of unknown etiology and
so not amenable to any treatment. Naturally WHO might have felt less concerned
for these diseases?
The author, during distribution of thesis subject
to P.G students, found that none of them dared to take up thesis on complicated
ailments. The ‘primary atrophic rhinitis’ (PAR) is such a disease and was more
prevalent in their locality. This disease, known since yore, is described in
the epic ‘Mahabharata’ of India. It was defiant to any treatment making the
patients (usually young girls) out-casted in society for horrible foul stench
from their nose. So the author started his own attempt to work on it clinically.
The result of research was found that it (PAR) is a variety of leprosy and
belongs to paucibacillary indeterminate (PIL) form. In this (PIL) form the
Mycobacteria leprae is not detectable (? absent). But no one questioned how or why
it was assigned as a variety of leprosy in absence of Mycobacterium leprae. Is there
any variant species of mycobacterial family - nontuberculous mycobacteria (NTM)
- that cause leprosy like diseases, and responds to, (then) recently developed
treatment for leprosy? Many other ailments, caused by these bacteria that were
found to be same or similar ones, causing or manifesting different sign
symptoms in different organs, are the result. This
appears amazing, impossible and a claim without base.
Furthermore some clinical features
are found common to both these diseases (leprosy and NTM diseases). To
enumerate a few they are; -
·
Neural
- Thickening and tenderness of peripheral nerves like radial nerve in radial
groove of humorous, ulnar nerve at medial epicondyles of elbow.
·
Neuro
muscular - Trembling fingers and toes, spasm of calf, spasm of fingers and toes.
(Symptoms of over-riding or bending of toes or fingers at times).
·
Cutaneous
- Depigmentation or blackening of skin especially at joint sites, localized areas
of tenderness or burning of skin.
·
Paralysis
or painful irritation - Bell’s palsy, trigeminal neuralgia, sciatica etc.
·
Anesthesia or hypoesthesia- Over peripheral
areas like hands, finger, foot and toes.
Some diseases caused by NTM bacteria are enumerated
below.
1. Headache,
hemicranias, vertigo, tinnitus unsteady gait etc. where no causative factor
(etiology) is detectable.
2. Aural diseases like progressive nerve deafness, tinnitus, vertigo,
intolerable aural pain, excessive itching, frequent wax formation but when
examined, they are found to have no evidence of any pathology in ear or from its
referred areas. Clinical, pathological
or radio-diagnostic procedures fail to get sign of any ear disease.
3. Dysphagia in the form of
complaint of bolus or irritating foreign body in throat causing intolerable
discomfort. There is no obstruction to food and water; also nothing detected by
endoscopy or radiological examinations.
4. Diseases of mouth. Like
Burning-mouth syndrome (BMS), coating and hardening of tongue, oral sub mucous
fibrosis (OSF), oral leukoplakia, and loss of taste (ageusia). Etiologies of
all these diseases are not detectable yet.
5. Respiratory disease like
un-diagnosable irritative cough, chest pain, dyspnea etc.
6. Diseases of nose – Primary
atrophic rhinitis (PAR), frequently recurring nasal allergy, long standing
common cold (newly named neuropathic cold), epistaxis of unknown etiology,
rhinoscleroma, liontie-ossei, atrophic nasal bones, anosmia etc.
7. Mood disturbances - Sometimes
some patients report with multiple complaints and add new ones during the
course of treatment of one of her disease. These patients are considered as
hypochondriac - a psychiatric manifestation where a patient imagines that
he/she is suffering from some diseases. Sometimes depressive or irritative mood
prevails among long sufferers of diseases of unknown etiology.
8. Also there is a long list of
diseases (with symptoms or syndromes) that has no etiology and naturally no
specific treatment. Also some newly named diseases like ‘neuropathic cold (a
variant of common cold), ‘neuropathic tracheo-bronchitis that causes asthma
like but short lasting respiratory spasm.
Such a large variety of
diseases affecting so many different organs appears more imaginary then reality, more so when
treatment procedures are almost akin.
The discussion is extensive so only few
photographs are enclosed for confirmation of the facts submitted. About other
diseases which are frequently symptom complexes, need verification of records
in office for assorting the truth. Many of his (author’s) publications in
medical journals of India, UK, USA and Germany will be found in his bio-data
supplied.
Thanks;
Dr.
S. Pattanaik.

Date of birth: 27/July/1931.
Registration no: Indian medical council Reg.no.1479.
Dated 1959.
Other information:
He worked as an Asst. Surgeon in Orissa for 3yrs.then worked as a
teacher in Medical colleges of Orissa and retired in 1990
Present
activities: Presently he is a Private Practitioner serving only the patients
suffering from diseases of unknown etiology (failing to get relief from
specialist doctors, reputed medical institutions and other ‘pathies’).
He is
continuing his research activities and published many scientific papers in
medical journals of India, England, USA and Germany.
Some
important ones are:-
1. Interesting
observations on Primary Atrophic Rhinitis – published in Indian journal of
Otolyngology in 2006 - Vol 58: no.3. July- sept264-267.
This
disease, that emits horrible stench from nose and commonly affect young girls
making them socially rejected, was of unknown etiology and had no treatment.
Surgeons frequently treat it with operations that hardly blood and bone can
bear. The author also had done many such operations before his discovery of its
cause and treatment. The journal is India’s national ENT Journal.
2. Effective
simple treatment for perichondritis and pinna haematoma. –Published in England
in The Journal of Laryngology & Otology (JLO) in2009Nov; 123(11):1246-9
This disease was treated only by operative treatment
which frequently results in deformity of pinna.
This treatment is
considered the best in the world by BioMedlib of USA. It is assessed as the
best in the world up till now, 2016
(10years).
3. He
has other many scientific contributions presented in National ENT conferences.
He has discovered treatments for many diseases which were incurable till now.
They are:-
(a).
Headache of unknown origin.
(b). Ulcer mouth (OSF, leukoplakia etc).
(c). Goiter (Thyroid diseases).
(d). Body ache and spasm of muscles, fingers and
other parts of body.
4. His recent most publication
“A POSSIBLE ETIOLOGY AND NEW TREATMENT OF BURNING MOUTH SYNDROME AND ALLIED
CONDITIONS” is in Heighpubs Journal of ENT disorders, Texas USA.
5. He has discovered a new method of surgery for tonsil – “Finger
dissection tonsillectomy” practiced by many surgeons for its simplicity, easy
performance, without requiring modern sophisticated and energy charged
instruments, with less complications and quick healing.
Evidence of cure of these
diseases is presented to national and international medical journals, some of which
are under consideration.
