RELIGION.

Religion is a system followed by
human beings on the creator of everything in the universe; the God, the Devine.
Humanity is
considered as the final end of the creation of the animal kingdom. During the
process of evolution, a kind of animal being, that developed among a monkey
like species with inclusion of some human characters, got further evolutionary
changes to be called humanoid monkey. This species transformed from quadrupeds
to bipods with erect gait and disuse atrophy of its tail. Also, there occurred
advancement in their brain by progressive development of intelligence,
cognition, imagination, comprehension etc in addition to thinking, remembering
and forgetting. Then they were considered as primitive and forest dwelling
mankind with progressive intelligence.
Animals,
higher ones, are intelligent to the extent to feel the nature – the place they
live, the sun, moon, fire, hills, ocean, plants, and other things found in our
environment. They found their food from their mother at birth and from surrounding
throughout living. They felt the natural events like sun rise, sun set, cloud,
rain, storm, earthquake and forest fire but never became eager to know what and
why they are there. Except tolerating or running away they had no intelligence to plan
an effective protection or utilise it for their own benefit.
But the man,
in his earlier bipod stage, could achieve significant and special improvement
in his brain tissue, developing cognition potentiated with wisdom and other efficacies.
That made him conceive the universe. He further imagined that it has heaven
above and the nether world below. And also, he further felt that, there is
somebody who has created everything in these surroundings. Also, he could
contemplate that there is a supreme creator who had created the sun, moon and
other heavenly bodies to serve all things and creatures created in their world.
As the time advanced the man become more and more
intelligent; a few of them started imagining and guessing further fascinating
narratives, about the creator. They were considered intelligent and canning
ones to convince common people that they had specific relation with the creator
and know mor and more facts about Him. Prayer, offering, sacrifice and many rituals were
contemplated by them. Common men were made convinced that these people are
wiser and searched the creator - the God. The shape of
the world, they continued to accept, as flat surface where the men and
everything around them are living or situated. Similarly, the supreme Creator is
glorified as all-mighty,
omni-potent, omnicient and all
pervasive. He, the creator, has also created other Godly beings like sun, moon,
air, rain etc. God, the supreme and his
godly-beings who serve the world are believed, living in heaven. And below it exists the earth
for men . Below it is the nether world
where lives the wicked and harmful beings. The heaven above was with everything
beautiful; pleasant with rippling brooks, flowery gardens, and beautiful
damsels.
As time advanced there occurred more advancement in
human intelligence and cognitive centre of their brain. Some of such intelligent, selfless
and wise people could be pragmatic to find that the earth is not flat and the
sun, moon and stars are not flat but globular and all are found moving in a
void. The sun, instead of moving around earth, is proved moving opposite. These
people were not self-claimed authorities. They practically demonstrated the real
scientific truth. The orthodox and self-claimed people who were biased on the
existence of God, framed by their own imagination, did not accept it. At times
they, the finders of truth, are considered culprits and were penalised to
the extent of life for being non-believers.
And now after
the advent of the truth that heaven is none existent and it is a void where
there are innumerable planets, milk-ways, black holes and other many unnamed things;
more and more people accepted the reality of it. Similarly wrong is the nether
world. In fact, it is a continuation of the land we live.
Is there no
Creator of this universe? How the natural phenomenon, we find
arround like day and night, change of weather,
life cycle of living bodies etc were functioning with precise regularity?
Cognizance,
intelligence, sagacity, conception which are the special gift of all-mighty for
the human beings, are expected to solve
these questions scientifically. But, now on
frequent occasions, reverse is the
result. Some human beings become mindless and addopts canibalism that results in merciless killing, conversion, annihilation, and terrorism.
Let us come to
the point on existence God, the supreme, the creator of everything, which is so
unimaginably and so excessively vast. We name him differently in different
faiths. According to our scientific understanding a shape is not possible to be
imagined for such an inconceivably great one (the creator). Human perception is
practically limited to perceive and identify different shape, size
&functional abilities that are worked out with our organs – the common and the
special sensory ones. So instead of thinking God as a being like human or other
living or non-living ones, let us think him as energy (Energy). A common
man, without some basic knowledge in science will face difficulty in
comprehending energy. It is the capacity to do work. Simply ability
to do change in a mass at rest or in motion.
Heat, light,
sound, potential or kinetic energy, electricity, X-ray, Gama ray, lightning and
myriads of cosmic-rays are the forms of energy which is present all over our
universe. All the materials present in the world and in the universe are shaped
from energy. In our body energy is our ability to do work like running,
jumping, singing etc. Similarly, the activities inside our body like beating of
our heart, peristalsis in digestive system which convert food to faeces and
sexual functions, those perpetuate the living species, are manifestations of activities
of energy. Our feeling of stimulations by nerves is also the work of energy. Only
some insignificant few manifestations of energy are those we observe, feel,
see, hear, taste or smell to appreciate.
Transformation
of energy to matters occurs in sub-atomic status - the electron neutron and protons
etc. Their combination develops to atom and molecules that form all the
materials in the universe. Our present scientific knowledge on life and living
is that some elements like carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, phosphorus etc.
had specific properties that manifest living activities like attraction,
locomotion, perception, utilization of nutrition and procreation.
So let
us discuss only some useful and perceptible aspects of energy.
The energy,
manifesting in the form of heat, light and physical activities etc as described
earlier, are doing work. It worked to shape elements and
compounds which shaped everything in the universe. Primitively living creatures,
like virus, yeast was shaped. They have life but without specialized living
activities described above. Additional inclusions of organs like, hand, leg
heart brain and other sensorineural organs shaped the animal kingdom, that
starts the process of evolution from most primitive amoeba to the most advanced
man-kind.
How the
numerous things of universe are regularly moving with so précised regularity and
how the intricate (complex)
biological functions of living world are working out?
To analyse let
us take an example of the detail life cycle of a giraffe.
Its existence appears in mother’s womb where two different cellular
structures, the ovum from mother & the sperm from father unite, multiply
& adopt the process of evolution to form a foetus – the earliest complete shape of the
animal. After completion of its intra uterine period it is delivered out. The
height of the animal is about a two-storey building. The baby, with so delicate
bone & body, delivered from such a height is expected to get mortally injured or
killed. But not a hair of its tail is disturbed. Then only, one can feel the
Omni potent God, the Energy which is already discussed. Still more surprising
is the calf’s attempt to stand & search for food in the udder of its
mothers at a height of about one-storey building. What makes the new born move
its mouth towards the udder & how the mother twists her legs so that baby
can get to standing position &food reaches to its mouth? The calf, devoid of strength & skill to
protect itself from predators, obtain security from her mother who is selfless,
life sacrificing. The mother never expects or gets any return from the baby or
it’s grown-up stage. How such magic like activities
operate where none is present at the site of birth? No nursing, no doctor but God – omnipresent,
omnipotent should be the only expectation there.
Energy, which uses its power to form the vast universe with the
materials and spiritual activities in it, is unimaginable and is omnipotent,
omniscient & all pervasive. Presently God is conceived as some body
with above mentioned transdental power for which He is felt great. His
greatness being unimaginable in our conception, man offers prayer, puja,
celebrations and all other religious rituals. Merciless torture, killing,
raping, fighting quarrelling, terrorism, warring and fighting, world-wars occurs
out of irrelevant religious controversy.
All the works of the energy are manifested as
different products; we perceive, imagine, think or comprehend by our sense
organs. They can undergo transformation to different forms of material or
manifestations of energy. For example, a plant grows taking mineral & water
from the ground & food prepared from sun’s light with carbon dioxide from
air. It gives fruits & leaves for consumption of living creatures who get it
converted, in their digestive system, to energy for physiological activities they
(living creatures) need for their body heat & other functional activities
of organs.
Also, it is converted directly to
heat if it is burnt or disintegrates in soil. Further disintegration may take I
to the stage of atoms. Further intelligence of man, got to sub- atomic particle
where amount of tremendous energy is sored – discovery of atomic bomb;
probability of annihilation of living world.
Irrespective of size, shape & nature their
e=mc2-
God! You
are energy. Energy! You are God – omniscient, omnipotent, all-pervasive!
