The danger of democracy India
For democracy we chose the election process to select the best person to man the post of administrators – be it of our country, state, municipality, panchayat, colleges, political party and what not?
What a catastrophic night-mare is its outcome?
During 75 years of its practice in our India we are with disturbed peace, we are more foe than friends with each others. New parties formed and old parties with veterans of freedom fighters vanished or side tracked by falsely proclaimed descendants of these life sacrificing freedom fighters of pre-independent congress leaders. Most valiant or sacrificing leaders like Netaji Subash Bose, Biju Pattnaik and many others were driven out. Now most parties are of auto generated or whimsically formed units, headed by Tom, Dick and Hary with ‘no’ or ‘fake’ registration. They need no qualification to get membership. Criminals of any form are eligible to get its membership.
Not only the entrance of these criminals to administration but also the enmity, hatred, altercation between individual citizens – be it a bosom friend or relatives – has dwindled.
According to the U N ‘World Happiness Report 2021” India remains at the bottom of list – most people in India are unhappy in their life.
Presently India is credited as the largest democratic country. In the pre-historic period it preached theosophy and philosophy of peace through “Sanatani '' Hinduism, Jainism and Buddhism.
The cause of unhappiness of Indians is crystal clear. From the date of announcement of election, the enmity spouts till a government is formed. Once a government is formed there starts criticism, altercation challenges leading to bitter fighting between individual and group.
It is strange how our leaders failed to find it? Let us search
an effective alteration
